Yesterday morning I received a call...

…it was Jan, a good old friend of mine. He was speaking to me while driving on the Autobahn in my direction. No worries, I´m sure he used a headset…maybe! He mentioned that he´s on the way to his Tattoo Artist to get a new tattoo and could pick me up on the way if I´m interested to join him. Off course I joined him because it´s always a good ideo to spend some time with good friends. I try to do so whenever I can. Also I´m always interested in things other people do, no matter what it is as long as they doing it with passion.

When we arrived at the Voodoo Tattoo Lounge/ Kunstpark Airpark we were heartily welcomed from Wolfgang and his dog. Both are really friendly, cool and handsome. I personally don´t have any tattoos yet so all this was more or less new to me. When I was a kid I always watched Miami Ink. with Ami James and wanted to become a tattoo artist, maybe I will show you some sketches one day I did back then. I asked Wolfgang a million questions about tattooing and he was super kind answering all of them. I really learned a lot! At the end I´m really thankful that both of them allowed me to take some photos because I think it´s a really intimate process to get tattooed. If you think to get a tattoo I would totally recommend this Studio. All people working their are super friendly, taking the time it needs from the first idea, doing the sketch and off course the finished piece of art. You will find details on their Website or on facebook. Thanks Jan and Wolfgang for this experience! Here´s the story from the stencil to the tattoo.
